Sonya Wool LAc.

Founder, Owner and Acupuncturist

Sonya grew up in a family of physicians. Witnessing health and healing began in childhood. After experiencing the physical effects of grief on her health, she found realignment and strength through Acupuncture and Chinese herbs. This revelation and her lifelong passion for medicine eventually led Sonya to pursue a career in Acupuncture.

Sonya Completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Denver and then attained her Master of Acupuncture and Eastern Medicine at Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. She volunteered for the Acupuncture Relief Project in Nepal in 2018.

My Philosophy

Health is nuanced, complex, and deeply personal. Through Chinese Medicine, I interpret signs and symptoms and give my patients a better context for what their body is asking for. I use an integrative approach to healthcare, and I value the strengths of both Western and Eastern medicine without bias. I provide a safe container for people to be uninhibited and authentic in themselves. I practice ethically with high standards of care to ensure vulnerability is not taken advantage of. I speak truthfully about limitations while also honoring the infinite power of Eastern Medicine. I honor my teachers and am grateful for the chance to practice a form of medicine not of my lineage.

My responsibility is to help educate and empower people.  I love being a witness to people tapping into reverence and admiration for their own strength and vitality.

My greatest honor is to serve as a catalyst in that process.
